Seonjeongneung (also known as Seolleung or Jeongneung) is a UNESCO World Heritage site located right in the middle of Gangnam. It is a burial ground of two ancient kings and one queen. All are buried separately, so the area is composed of their three tombs, which are located inside a park. The entrance fee is 1000 won, which is basically nothing.
To be honest, there isn’t much to say about it, so I’ll just let the pictures speak for themselves. While much of the historical significance is probably lost on me, it’s still a really cool place to visit. The park is beautiful and once again, it feels like you have entered into a completely different time and place compared to the busy Gangnam district. Very relaxing atmosphere. If you’re in the area, I’d recommend stopping by.
